A nod to the early days of electrified guitar players that used "coily cables" or "curly cables" on stage. Vintage coils are still used today for their tone and vintage style.
Our Voltage vintage coils™ are an improved modernised version of the first coils used years ago whilst still keeping the vintage vibe. The sound is fuller and the coils are more durable for touring. This is due to our patent pending ISO-COAT™ technology and the components we use like Quad Eutectic silver solder, high quality plugs and 21 AWG copper.
All cables we manufacture now come with our patent pending hermetic seal called ISO-COAT™. This seal is the first-of-its-kind to prevent corrosion and oxidisation which is a known factor in cable failure and sonic degradation.

Why most cables fail.Until ISO-COAT™, cable terminations were left unsealed, mostly only protected by heatshrink. The cable pictured in this photo isn't ours and isn't that old.
A closer look.Over time, a chemical reaction occurs at the terminations. Oxidisation and corrosion start to take hold of the copper.
This reaction is due to atmospheric attack like temperature changes, humidity, exposure to the elements as well as poor soldering. The green colouring you can see on the copper is oxidisation and this reaction will not only cause the connection to break but will also travel up into cable itself degrading the whole assembly sonically and structurally.
