About Us

At Voltage Cable Co.®, our passion for guitars, boutique gear, and reliability drives everything we do.

Founded in 2021, Voltage Cable Co.® was born out of a love for guitar tone, design, and innovation. Our mission is simple—to manufacture the best-sounding, reliable, premium cables on the market.

Handmade in Sydney, Australia, our cables are built by experienced technicians using only the finest components, backed by a genuine lifetime warranty.

As a family-owned and operated business, every cable passes through multiple hands before it reaches you. We strip, solder, test, and package everything in-house to ensure unmatched sound quality, durability, and reliability.

The Birth of a New Standard - A Full Circle Story.

Voltage Cable Co.® wasn’t built overnight—it was forged through years of hands-on experience playing guitar, building hand-wired amplifiers, and working alongside touring artists, all driven by an uncompromising pursuit of quality gear.

Before launching Voltage Cable Co.®, I spent many years working in a small town boutique guitar shop, surrounded by some of the best amplifiers in the world—Soldano, Bogner, Friedman, and hand-wired vintage Marshall. Being around premium gear where every nuance mattered, I developed a massive obsession with guitar tone and how quality gear is manufactured.

At the shop, one of the most popular services we offered was modifying Marshall amps, completely gutting and rewiring reissue Fender amps to be point-to-point hand-wired, and adding custom circuits to certain valve amps brands.

During this time, I had the chance to work alongside Pete Reynolds— my old boss, the owner of the shop and a valve amp genius with over 45 years of experience designing and handcrafting Reynolds Amplifiers. His deep understanding of tone, electrical engineering, and durability completely changed the way I looked at gear.

Pete wasn’t just a mentor—he’s an old-school amplifier guru, a motorbike racer at heart, and someone who believes that rock-solid reliability is the only way. Today, Pete is our lead technician at Voltage Cable Co., and chances are, the cable you’re playing was made by Pete—hand-soldered, sealed, and meticulously tested to meet our uncompromising Australian standards.

From my first day at the shop to now, the story has come full circle—and we’re just getting started.

Working alongside Pete, I learned the true meaning of quality. I saw firsthand how every solder joint, every component choice, and every small detail could affect an amplifier’s tone and longevity. We spent countless hours diagnosing gear failures, fixing problems, and figuring out why some equipment stood the test of time while others failed.

And one of the biggest issues we kept encountering?

Bad cables.

Our Stake in the Ground.

As Voltage Cable Co.® established itself in the guitar cable market, we made a clear decision—to set a new standard and create cables that are truly inspiring to use and most importantly built to last.

What truly matters to us is that you, the artist receive a product that stands the test of time—a product we can back with 100% confidence. We want our customers to focus on playing, not worrying about gear failure. That’s why our attention is on developing the best-sounding, genuine lifetime instrument cables.

It all starts with high-quality components and the best workmanship in the industry. Our highly experienced cable technicians use Quad Eutectic silver solder, ensuring oxygen-free connections for maximum signal integrity and strength. It doesn’t just stop there, though.

ISO-COAT® – The First and Only Hermetic Anti-Corrosive Seal for Instrument Cables (Patent Pending)

With 45 years of hands-on experience—on the bench, in the studio, and on stage—we’ve encountered every type of cable failure imaginable. So, we invented ISO-COAT®, a patent-pending, world-first solution to eliminate cable degradation at its source.

ISO-COAT® hermetically seals the entire cable assembly, preventing oxidation, corrosion, and atmospheric attack—the leading causes of signal loss, tone degradation and cable failure.

For guitarists who demand genuine lifetime durability and consistent toneISO-COAT® protected cables offer unmatched reliability—on stage, in the studio, and beyond.
