ISO-COAT™

As Voltage Cable Co. established itself in the guitar cable market, we decided to put our stake in the ground and offer guitar cables that are truly inspiring to use and genuinely add value to your artistic endeavours.

What really matters to us is that you receive a product that will stand the test of time that we can back with 100% confidence. We want our customers to concentrate on playing and not stress out about gear failure. This has inspired the pursuit to produce genuine lifetime cables.

It all starts with high quality components and workmanship. Our qualified technicians use Quad Eutectic silver solder and achieve cable terminations that are completely oxygen free.

ISO-COAT™ was invented to overcome all of the cable failures we have encountered in over 45 years experience on the bench in the studio and on stage.

It prevents atmospheric attack like oxidisation and corrosion which are known factors in cable failure and sonic degradation.

ISO-COAT® protected cables are for guitarists who value genuine lifetime durability and consistent tone throughout their career on stage and in the studio.

We take durability seriously.

Hermetically Sealed

Patent pending first-of-its-kind hermetically sealed guitar cables

Corrosion & Oxidisation Resistant

Designed for any gig, any climate, anywhere. ISO-COAT™ prevents corrosion and oxidisation which is a known factor in cable failure and sonic degradation.

Enhanced Structural Integrity

A stronger, reinforced impermeable membrane.

Cured for 24hrs

All cables cure for 24 hours and are tested before final assembly/QC.

Rigorous Quality Control

All cables undergo 5 stages of quality control testing during the manufacturing process. 2 x audio tests are also performed before cables are shipped.

Breaking Points.

Why most cables fail.
This is what can happen to your cables.

Until ISO-COAT™, cable terminations were left unsealed, mostly only protected by heatshrink. The cable pictured in this photo isn't ours and isn't that old.

A closer look.

Over time, a chemical reaction occurs at the terminations. Oxidisation and corrosion start to take hold of the copper.

This reaction is due to atmospheric attack like temperature changes, humidity, exposure to the elements as well as poor soldering. The green colouring you can see on the copper is oxidisation and this reaction will not only cause the connection to break but will also travel up into cable itself degrading the whole assembly sonically and structurally.
